At CarryParcel, community safety is our paramount priority. Because items are transported by independent travelers, users must strictly adhere to this Prohibited Items Policy. Transporting illegal, dangerous, or unauthorized goods jeopardizes traveler safety, violates local and federal laws, and degrades community trust.
2. Strictly Forbidden Categories
The following items are strictly prohibited from being listed, packed, offered, or transported on CarryParcel under any circumstances:
Illegal Drugs & Narcotics
Controlled substances, illicit drugs, unapproved pharmaceuticals, or prescription medications without valid matching documentation.
Firearms & Ammunition
Handguns, rifles, stun guns, ammunition, weapon components, replica firearms, or martial arts weaponry.
Explosives & Fireworks
Fireworks, flares, gunpowder, blasters, detonators, or any explosive pyrotechnic compound.
Flammable Liquids & Gas
Gasoline, lighter fluid, kerosene, aerosol paint cans, pressurized gas cylinders, or butane canisters.
Toxic & Chemical Hazards
Pesticides, poisons, corrosive acids, biohazardous waste, radioactive elements, or infectious substances.
Dangerous Biological Material
Medical waste, blood samples, viral cultures, hazardous biological agents, or unregistered clinical specimens.
Stolen & Illicit Goods
Property obtained through theft, burglary, robbery, or unauthorized conversion.
Counterfeit & Fraudulent Goods
Fake branded merchandise, forged identification documents, fake currency, or pirated copyright media.
Illegal Wildlife Products
Protected animals, endangered species products, ivory, or contraband animal specimens restricted under wildlife protection laws.
3. Additional Restricted Items
In addition to hazardous goods, the following items are forbidden from being sent via peer-to-peer transport on CarryParcel:
- Cash and Negotiable Instruments: Physical currency, bank notes, bearer bonds, traveler's checks, or gift cards.
- Human Remains: Cremated remains, body parts, or biological specimens.
- Unsecured Sharp Objects: Unsheathed blades, knives, scalpels, or loose industrial needles.
- Items Prohibited by Applicable Law: Any material or article whose transport or possession is restricted by state, federal, or transit transit laws in India.
4. Mandatory Sender Declaration Rules
Senders must provide a completely truthful and detailed description of the parcel's contents during order creation. The following acts constitute severe violations of CarryParcel policy:
- Concealment: Hiding restricted or prohibited goods inside harmless items or double-boxed packaging.
- Misrepresentation: Falsely labeling electronic devices, liquids, or chemicals as clothing or books.
- Underdeclaration: Falsifying item valuation or package weights to bypass inspection or fee structures.
Traveler Inspection Right: Travelers have the right to visually inspect any package before accepting it. If a package appears suspicious, sealed suspiciously, or differs from the listing description, Travelers should refuse pickup immediately.
5. Platform Interventions & Violations
If CarryParcel detects or receives reports of prohibited item violations, the platform will take swift action, including:
- Immediate cancellation of active delivery requests.
- Temporary or permanent suspension of user accounts.
- Forfeiture of associated wallet earnings or escrow holds.
- Reporting suspicious or unlawful activity to law enforcement and regulatory authorities.
6. Reporting Suspicious Activity
If you encounter a listing or package that appears suspicious, unsafe, or unlawful, please report it immediately via the in-app reporting button or contact our support team directly.
